Netflix Entry: Hopscotch

Here is my review in 5 lines or less:

Release Date: 1980
Run Time: 104 Minutes
Starring: Walter Matthau, Glenda Jackson, Ned Beatty, Sam Waterson

1. A nice reminder that Walter Matthau was more than a grumpy old man (see also "Charley Varrick"), he was also a bad ass spy with an axe to grind.
2. While more comedy than thriller, it's got some very tense moments.
3. I tend to think of Ned Beatty as a loveable father figure, but this and "Toy Story 3" show of an incredible mean streak out matched by few.
4. Summation: Cold War hijinks mixed with a nice revenge/ payback set up, make for great viewing.
